Betchworth Repair Café returns

Don’t chuck it – fix it! Due to popular demand, Re-Betchworth’s pop-up Repair Café is back, courtesy of the fabtastic Dorking Repair Café team of experts and our own Re-Betchworth volunteers. And it’s free!
Help stop repairable items going into landfill and save money. Bring your broken stuff to the Betchworth Repair Café.

Time: 10.30 – 1.00pm

Venue: Betchworth Village Hall, RH3 7DF
Do you have you a much-loved leather bag that just needs a few stitches? A frayed hem on a child’s favourite dress? A vacuum cleaner with a worn cable? A toaster that’s just not toasting like it used to?
Whatever it is that’s in need of a little TLC, here’s your chance to get it repaired at Re-betchworth’s pop-up Repair Café.
Tea, coffee and cake available.
There’s no charge for repairs, though optional donations are very welcome to cover costs for hall hire, insurance, PAT testing equipment etc.
And while we've got your attention...
The Dorking team would love Re-Betchworth to host more regular Repair Cafés, so that any broken items can be checked by either team within two weeks. To do that we need more volunteers, with practical common sense being as important as professional skill sets. Come and join us!
If you think you can help, at any level, we'd love to hear from you. To find out more, get in touch with James Benn at
